Baby Micah was born Friday night at 9:00 p.m. He was 8lbs 2oz and 20 inches long. Lindsey was such a trooper. Unfortunately we had to reschedule her shower. She missed it due to going into labor. What are the chances of that? Anyway, we had fun yet again welcoming sweet Micah into the world. My Dad, Mom, Kimberly, and I were all there with Derek and Lindsey. So fun. My personal opinion is that he favors Parker, but has his own look. Tyler, Blake, and Jeremy went to meet him tonight. I am so excited about having 4 nephews. I love them so!! Mom, Linds, and I after the epidural (ha ha) and before Micah arrived.

2/4
Two out of four of my boys have stitches right now. How does that happen?
Blake (5) who refuses to let me put a picture up of him on the day of his hernia surgery has a few stitches. (Also, he is supposed to stay inactive for 2 whole weeks. That is impossible.) So, only a short three days later Tyler (7) is climbing a fence and flips over it. He has a gash in his head with three stitches and a nice bruised knot on his chin.
Facts of Life

Where: Van on the way back from the grocery store

Sam: How is he going to crawl out?
Me: Well, he isn't going to crawl out. Aunt Lindsey will push him out.
Sam: She will just poop him out in the toilet! Ha Ha Ha
That is a 3 year old boy for you!

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting
Free Chapel is smack dab in the middle of our 21 days of prayer and fasting. It has been amazing to see what God is doing in our church body during this time and to see what he is going to do because of it. I love that this is something we do every year. Three things that I am always reminded of during a fast is that:
1. I NEED and DEPEND on Jesus for everything!
2. I want God to have my FIRST and my BEST always!
3. I love how a fast brings discipline in more areas than just food. It bleeds into all areas of life, but most importantly into the discipline of sin that so easily binds us. Who doesn't want to be FREE from the things that keep us from being all God wants us to be?
Check out Jeremy and Chris's blog. They blog daily during the fast and it has really encouraged me!
I leave you with a scripture I read on Chris's blog today:
Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish."

I Heart the RV!!
Over the Christmas holidays Derek's, my brother-in-law, family came in town. They drove their very nice RV from Georgia to Austin. (You can check out a pic of it on Lindsey's blog)
We all, I am talking all of us, loaded up in the RV to go to San Antonio. I have never been except to pick up someone at the airport. It was beautiful. The lights down the riverwalk were awesome. We had a blast. Jeremy, Blake, Sam, and Ty on the riverwalk.
