Happy 10th Anniversary

Jeremy and I just got back from our 10th wedding anniversary trip. Jeremy pretty much planned it all. I am so glad that he did. We went skiing and it was so much fun. It is always good to step back, relax, and reflect. It was amazing. The last 10 years have been amazing and hard and fun and very interesting. So, 4 boys, 3 big moves, a masters degree, and a church plant later we couldn't be more happy and in love! I love you babe!! Every picture we took ourselves. Like you couldn't tell. Heavenly Village in Tahoe.

Right outside our hotel room was the gondola that we took to go ski. There were stores, restaurants, and a movie theatre all right there. We walked everywhere.

Jeremy, the mountains, and Lake Tahoe. He is a pretty good skier, me not so much.

It was hot this day.

It was freezing this day. Lake Tahoe is huge!!

8

Our first born is 8 years old!! I can hardly believe it. We are so proud of him and love him like crazy!! Tyler had a fun birthday this year. Honey and Jessie came and took him shopping. I promise he was in heaven. He so cares about his clothes. He has worn at least one of the many things they bought him everyday since then.
We didn't have a big party this year. On Saturday night we celebrated with my family. All of Tyler's brothers and cousins were helping him open gifts. He handled it very well. I guess he is used to it.
He is wearing one of the jersey's Honey and Jessie gave him.

He got clothes and books from Mama Don and Papa, HSM3 from Uncle Derek and Aunt Lindsey, and HSM basketball dress up outfit from Uncle Wade and Aunt Kimberly.

He got a big drum set from us and new drum heads from Jason and Paige. We moved the drums from the very messy garage to the bedroom. .

I couldn't get the red eye out of the pic.

Micah celebrating Tyler's 8th Birthday.

Tyler had a wardrobe change and then time to blow out the candles. I know his cake looks puny, but he asked for cheesecake so he had three different cheesecakes. This was just one of them.

Valentine's Randomness

I really liked Valentine's day on Saturday. On Friday we celebrated at the boys school and we were way into sugar overload before Saturday came. We got the boys a bag of fun stuff, which they were excited about it. Honey and Jessie brought by some goodies for the boys on Monday and Mama Don hosted a "make your own sundae" party on Saturday night. Lots of fun, but no really good pics. Yo, Yo Sambo!!
Cheesy Blaker!!

This makes me have a good Valentine's day. I love when the boys love on each other.

I also love iced coffee. Jerm and the boys let me sleep in and then surprised me with an iced coffee. I am very easy to please.

Until Next Week.....

I have a ton to blog about and my word has it been a busy three weeks, but all will have to wait until this coming weekend. Jeremy and I are heading out of town for our 10th wedding anniversary first thing in the morning. We are beyond excited about a little rest and relaxation, and skiing of course!!!

Here We Go!!

This would be Gray's step stool he came up with. Honestly, I don't even want to admit how many things like this happen around here.

Nerd Day

Yesterday the Morris brothers came to do a concert at Tyler and Blake's school. The Morris brothers are nerds, so everyone that wanted to could dress like a nerd. Tyler was loving it. He is so dramatic, so he had no problem being in character. When he got home he told me that him and four other students got picked to go on stage and be in the band because of their great nerd costumes.

Super Bowl Tailgate Party

On Sunday we had our now "annual" Pre-Super Bowl tailgate party in our neighborhood. The weather could not have been better. We had a bounce house, which was awesome. We had hot dogs, drink, chips, and cookies. We did a football toss. (Thanks Keith and Wendy!) We also had face painting (thanks Kat) and sidewalk chalk. Thank you to all who helped with the party. So fun!!

Thanks Jason and Paige for buying all the food!

I think this was Blake's 4th hot dog.

I have never seen Gray eat so much. I have no idea who kept giving this child food or he could have been picking up every one's left overs. Ugh, let's not think about that!

Charlie! One of the newest members of our neighborhood and Free Chapel.

Seriously

Gray thinks dumping the crumbs out of the Pringles can all over his face is hilarious. He even had crumbs in his eye lashes. Crazy boy!!
