Happy Birthday Sam!!

Sam turns two on the August 31st, but we always celebrate a little early at the beach!! He was so funny!! We let him blow out his candles first and then open his gifts. He eyed his cupcakes the whole time he opened his presents. He also sang "Happy Birthday to me" the entire time we sang to him. How sweet is he??

Tyler's First Day of School!!

Tyler started 1st grade today! He was very excited to get back to school!! It wasn't nearly as sad as last year! We know he is going to have a great year!! Jeremy took him in while myself and the younger boys stayed in the van. Jeremy said he did not want to take a picture! Looks good to me!!

Honey and Jessie!!

We haven't seen Honey and Jessie all summer. They just got back from Hawaii. We had a great time seeing them. They also came bearing gifts!! The three older boys are sporting their Maui t-shirts!! We have one for Gray also, but he was asleep when we left. Thanks for coming and seeing us after your vacation!!

SWEET FRIENDS!!

We couldn't wait to see of dear friends the Allen's when we returned home. This is Laney and Miller. They came over to play while their mom Joanie went to the doctor. She is pregnant and will be having Hadley in about 2 weeks. We can't wait to meet her. I can tell Laney is going to be great with Hadley. She was a huge help with Gray!!

THE BEACH!!

If you don't remember, we were in Birmingham all summer. Jeremy did some work for Metro Church in Birmingham and we got to reap the benefits of being with family for the first time in a long time. It was wonderful. Especially for the boys, who loved being around their grandparents and cousins.
At the end of the summer we take a annual family beach trip to Destin. We have grown out of the condo we usually stay in (14 people and growing), so we rented a house in Seacrest. It was the best. We played at the pool most of the time and ate at some great places at night. Tyler loved the Ocean, Blake liked it, Sam hated it, and Gray never saw it. Let's just say the pool is the place for us until everyone gets a little older. Here are some pictures from our time at the Beach!!

The Burtons!!

Stephen, Kelly, and Kate came to visit us in Birmingham. We had the best time talking until the wee hours of the morning. They just moved to Atlanta so hopefully we will ge to seem them more when we visit Birmingham. We were loving having Kate around. Girls are a novelty on the "Lombard" side of things. We are also so excited to meet Sam Burton in December. I know, Kelly doesn't even look pregnant!! We love you guys!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!!

Blake turned 4 on July 29th! We celebrated in Birmingham. He got golf clubs, golf shoes (they are the cutest things you have ever seen), and some Go Diego Go toys. He also wanted an ice cream cake which was so yummy!! We have always thought of Blake older than he is. I think just because he does everything Tyler does. He is such a great and funny kid! We love that sweet boy!
