Our Baby Goes to Kindergarten!!

Tyler had his first day of school on Monday!! He absolutely loves it!! One of his favorite things about kindergarten is the cafeteria, of course!! He really liked choosing what he wanted and he made a point to tell Jeremy and I that he ate his cookie first. He also loves that I pick him up in the car line. If he is happy, I am happy. I can't say that I haven't gotten a little teary eyed this week. My worries vacillate between hoping that I made the most of these last 5 years to not wanting him to get hurt by others, to hoping that reading comes easy and he learns responsibility. It is silly, but I have been totally shocked how this milestone has been hard for me. This I do know, that this experience is going to be great for the both of us.

Sam Turns One!!!

Well, Almost...not really until the 31st of August!!

We celebrated early at the beach. He loved, loved, loved his cupcake!! We did a litte beach theme. I have truly enjoyed this past year. Sam is waving, saying "dada", "mama", "bye,bye", cruising (not walking), and is the happiest baby ever!! Happy Birthday Sam!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!!

Against all my wishes, Blake insisted on having his party at Chuck E. Cheese. I had dreams of a baseball party with all the fixings at our home. Blakes dreams were of course what a three year old would want: A Combo of Baseball/Chuck E. Cheese!! We tried our best. The invites and party favors were baseball and all the rest Chuck E. Cheese!

There are a ton, but here are a few things I love about Blakey!! (One day I am going to have to stop calling him Blakey)

1. He is sarcastic!
2. He pretty much always shares with Tyler!
3. He says everything that is good or cool is "amazing"!
4. He has great hair!
5. He loves his Mama!!!

Cow Appreciation Day!
We celebrated Cow appreciation day at Chick-fil-a today! This is my girlfriend Joanie and her two cuties, Laney and Miller. We all got free combo meals for dressing up. The boys had a blast. The things we do for our kids and free food!!!

Aunt Lindsey!!
Lindsey came to visit for a week and I am so thankful. The boys loved her being here. I think I loved it even more. I wish she could move in, but Derek probably wouldn't be too happy!

Mama Don and Papa came for a short visit. They brought Alabama apparel for Ty and Blake. As you can tell, they loved it.
