TY OFFICIALLY TURNS 5!!!
On Wednesday Feb. 22nd, Tyler officially turned 5!!! We told Tyler he could pick a restaraunt to go to for his Birthday dinner. He loves Chili's, Chick-fil-A, or even Sonic. Jeremy and I would be just fine with any of those, but no, he chooses every parent's worst nightmare, Chuck E. Cheese! He is a smart 5 year old. Chuck E. Cheese is a block from our house. And everytime we go home, not a week goes by that one of the boys does not ask to go. He took full advantage of his Birthday choice and rightly so. As you can see Tyler and Blake are elated with the chaos of this child friendly place and the pizza sauce smeared on their faces, but Jeremy and I agree with Sam's sentiment. We are tired and ready for bed!!!

This is Tyler and Blake most of the time. Tyler said "Blake, do you know how a COW eats CORN?" and then he continues to attack Blake, which makes Blake laugh and spit Cheeze-its all over the couch!!

Tyler thinks he is so BIG!!!!
Tyler has turned 5 and all the sudden he thinks he is grown up. This is him randomly bringing Sam into the kitchen. I was so caught off guard, but I thought it was so funny.

Party Favors!! I know I told a few of you about the party favors! These are the capes that we gave away to all the Superheros for coming to Ty's party. They were a lot of fun and I think the kids liked them.

Tyler's Superhero Birthday Party!!

Well, one of our "Mr. Incredible's" had his 5th Birthday Party today. It was great fun, but a lot of work and well worth it. The big party was in limbo due to bad weather (Winter Storm, High 27), but the meeting of Caped Crusaders was a success!!! Thank goodness!! Ty had about 12 other superheros join him for "incredibles" cupcakes, ice cream, and of course the PINATA. The whole family, except Super Sam, got into the festivities. Jeremy and I truly enjoyed being Batman and Batgirl. I really wanted to be "Wonderwoman" but I had forgotten how "risque" she is. Wonderwoman is pretty cute when your 5 and in your undroos...not so cute after 3 kids! Tyler definitely liked all of his presents, but most of all he loved all of his little friends being at his house. I hope that whether it be age 5 or 55 that he always loves and cherishes his friends.

This is what happens when we took Blake's paci away...(just kidding) Posted by Picasa

Ty is turning five. Only 11 days away and how can we forget, Tyler reminds us of that frequently. I never thought I would be that mom that was so sad that her first born was going to be tackling kindergarten in a few months, but I am so that mom. More to come on the big SUPER HERO Birthday party.

We have made GREAT strides this week with Blake and his favorite thing, "The Paci". The pacifier is officially gone. No thanks to me at all, but all the thanks to his dad for sticking with it. I hate to admit it, but the first night I was searching the house at 1 a.m. for any signs of a pacifier.

Sam is just 5 months old and he has already fallen into peer pressure!!! ( He started taking a bottle about two weeks ago, only once a day and not without much hesitation) So, I had a talk with him about how his brothers started holding their own bottle at four months and that was it. He had to show them he was not going to be left behind.
He also has started sitting up this week. That is a workout for a 20 pounder, but as you can see he really likes it. I think he just likes being able to check out what is going on around him. He has to be ready in case a random baseball, toy, or sippy cup comes flying passed him.
